This release is ideal for kingfish, and saltwater fish using over 20 pound test monofilament line. Release has extra firm tension to withstand large lures and high speed trolling common in saltwater. It has a beefed up, 18" 210# stainless steel leader and heavy duty 2/0 snap. You can adjust the tension further by placing the line deeper into the pads thus adding more resistance.
